Last week I was astounded by a solo guitar piece my Paul McCartney which I have been playing since I was a teenager; Blackbird. Wrong as it turns out as I watched a lesson by the great Andy and his Shut up and play guitar tutorials. You should definitely check him out!
McCartney's main instruments are bass and piano but he has composed a lot of songs on acoustic guitar. He has an unique style which combines fingerstyle with strumming with his index finger. I have included the original rehearsal sessions at Abbey Road. Paul is still searching for the final form and looks a bit nervous while recording the masterpiece.
