We fit perfectly on paper

All good things must come to an end. And bad things too she must have thought while pulling the plug out of our relationship and banning me out of her life. Good riddance. Although I am the first to admit that our bond was a bit unstable (to put it mildly) and hoped that her ‘pulling the plaster at the count of three. One, two, pull’ would have the same effect as it had when I was a child (looking at your mother in disbelief because she pulled a trick, start crying, noticing the pain quickly fading way, get along). It didn’t.

Of course she learned me a lot of good things like: proper cooking, being a stepdad (she has a seven year old son), coping with a girlfriend who has 22 personalities (I failed that test dramatically), getting along extremely well between the sheets (blushing), exploring Vintage Stores, pulling the rug when someone’s guard is down (oops, sorry) , finish the latest Tomb Raider game, having a family, seeing Don Quichot and Sancho Panze up in a tree (yep we smoked weed), mourning alone and the most important one: realizing that in the end only on paper we fit perfectly. That is what this blog will be about in the forthcoming period. I have managed to document our love in a unique way; from the early romantic beginning to the bitter drastic ending. Tip of the veil: it has something to do with Ernest Hemingway's short story writing. And yes I’ll always connect the story to music, starting today with Paper Doll by John Mayer. Oh one more thing: the story is written in Dutch and therefore will be presented on the Dutch section of the site. Starting off tomorrow. Hope you like it. Cheers!
